After early morning surfing next to Crystal Pier - shivering just a little -
walk up to the window in the alley (a door with the top-half open), order what
they called a spanish omelet; a thin egg batter poured on the grill, with a
dollop of chili, wrapped burrito style, slapped on a paper plate
in exchange for a quarter (25¢ that is). - That was the life! |
